Custom Jewelry

At Mason and Books creating custom pieces is a deeply personal and collaborative process.

We love working closely with our clients to design bespoke, heirloom-quality jewelry that’s truly one-of-a-kind.

Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to breathe new life into existing stones, we can craft designs that reflect your vision and the Mason and Books aesthetic. From reimagining cherished gems to creating something entirely new, we transform your ideas into timeless, exciting pieces.

How to Get Started with a Custom Piece

We’re thrilled you’re considering a custom piece with Mason and Books! To begin, we’d love to get a sense of your personal style and preferences.

Do you have favorite designs from our past collections? Let us know which ones caught your eye. Tell us about your preferred settings, stone colors, types, and cuts—any details you can provide will help bring your vision to life. A mood board or inspiration photos are always welcome!

Once we have a clear design direction, our team will provide you with estimated price ranges. From there, we’ll begin sourcing stones that meet your specifications.

We look forward to creating something truly special with you!

Resetting an Existing Stone

Have a cherished piece you’d like to reimagine? We love working with clients to reset existing stones—it’s a wonderful way to breathe new life into heirlooms or outdated styles with a fresh, modern design.

To get started, please send us clear photos of the piece you’d like to reset, along with any documentation you have (such as stone certificates or appraisals). From there, we’ll guide you through a design consultation, just like we do for fully custom pieces.

We’ll talk through your preferences—settings, stone types, colors, and cuts—and provide you with an estimated price range. The more details you can share (inspiration images or a vision board are great!), the better we can tailor your design.

If you'd like to incorporate additional stones—like accent or side stones—we’re happy to help source those as well. You’ll have the opportunity to approve stone options, either through color samples or viewing the actual stones.

We’re excited to help you transform your piece into something new and meaningful!
